The C.A.P. MLC-8T and MLC-8aT master lighting controllers allow you to control up to EIGHT 1000 watt HID lights from one 40 amp, 240 volt power source using one time-clock or controller. Use 40 amp, 240 volt power into the MLC-8T, and all of the outlets are controlled by the integrated time clock. 

The MLC-8T features four standard 240 volt style (NEMA 6-15) outlets, which your ballasts are plugged into. The MLC-8aT uses 120 volt style (NEMA 5-15) outlets which allows for running your ballasts at 240 volts without having to change out your ballast power cords.

The MLC-8T and 8aT come with a 120 volt “Trigger” cable, and a built in 24 hour Timer. The Trigger Cable can be connected to an HLC-1, 2 or 3 in order to protect your growing area from overheating and your lights from “Hot Starts,” increasing the life of your lighting system and bulb.

These light controllers need to be hardwired. We recommend a licensed electrician install this unit.
