It's the largest grow block ever produced by Grodan! The Big Mama™ contains well over twice as much stonewool as the popular Hugo block.
Grodan stonewool is pH neutral, making it easy to maintain the ideal gardening pH value of 5.5 - 6.5. Grodan Blocks have grooved base which promotes drainage to avoid root rot. Each block is wrapped in white plastic on all four sides for easy handling and to help maintain its shape.
The Big Mama Block is big enough to grow a large plant for its entire life!
When a plant outgrows a smaller block, you can simply place it on top of the Big Mama. Not using hydroponics? Stonewool can be planted directly into soil, indoors or out.
This block does NOT have a precut hole, allowing you to place any smaller size block on top!
