A GrowColt timer is an inexpensive tool that allows you to cycle your equipment using 50-second intervals. Each pin represents 50 seconds of time - UP for ON, DOWN for OFF. This timer completes one revolution every 40 minutes.

To control the "lights OFF" period, plug an inexpensive 24-hour timer into the electrical outlet, then connect it to GrowColt, which then connects to your gardening equipment.
