When you have non-chlorinated water, this is the pre-filter that's best suited for this RO system. Use it in place of the standard carbon pre-filter that comes with the Garden Pro.
The ten-micron Merlin Sediment Pre-filter removes hard sediment particles often found in well water, such as rust, sand and silt before they reach the actual membrane element filters.
The more clean you keep the Merlin Garden Pro membrane elements, the longer they last!
