Phresh Filter carbon air filters contain RC-48 carbon that is derived from an ancient black coal deposit found only in Western Australia. Activated RC-48 carbon is incredibly effective for the filtration of organic particles and other airborne materials. 

Phresh Filters are a perfect combination of granulate size, carbon surface area and carbon bed depth. CTC or Airstream Removal Tests (ASTM D 3467-94) prove that it can absorb 108.3% of its own weight.

These powerful filters produce higher CFM and filtration at half the size and weight of competing filters!

Each Phresh Filter includes flange and comes with a pre-filter sock covering that catches the large dust particules and foreign materials. It is recommended that the pre-filter be machine-washed or replaced every six months.

Ideally, maximum air temperatures should be kept below 95° F (35° C). Relative humidity should be kept below 75%. With typical use your Phresh Filter should last around two years. When replacement is necessary, recycle the aluminium top and base, then mix RC-48 carbon into your garden as a soil conditioner.
