Hydrofarm Daystar - Powerhouse ballast:

Daystar - 400W PowerHouse Convertible Ballast 25 YEAR reflective material warranty! The Hydrofarm Daystar reflector is low profile, lightweight, and easy to hang. It handles 1000-watt bulbs very efficiently.

The Daystar is built with a rugged pre-galvanized steel housing and provides a specular aluminum interior for maximum light dispersion.

The double wall design of the Daystar is up to 75% cooler than average and will accept an optional glass safety lens and 4-inch flanges for fan powered air cooling.
