The Lumatek electronic ballasts now provide a dimmer switch that lets you turn the output down to 50% or 75%! They handle both Metal Halide (MH) and High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulbs and produce 20-30% more lumens than magnetic ballasts and are 8-15% brighter than other digital brands on the market. 

Lumatek electronic ballasts have a strong advantage in the marketplace with their soft start technology which can help your HID lamps last up to three times longer, yet the fast start up lets your lamps reach full brightness in less than a minute. They're Microprocessor controlled to ensure proper performance with every bulb! Like most digital ballasts, the Lumateks run cool so there is no need for a cooling fan and they are one of the quietest ballasts available.

Each Lumatek ballast comes with a 15 foot 120V RF-shielded output cord to prevent radio and TV signal interruption. To use 240V power, simply replace the power cord with the optional 240 volt Smart Volt cord and you're set to go. (The 250W ballast is 120V ONLY) The units sealed to be water resistant for safety and to prolong ballast life. There's also a cut-off-circuitry that automatically shuts off the ballast in case of a short.

Ideal for warm weather areas, Lumatek electronic ballasts can handle the heat - up to 140° F. Every ballast is factory tested for 12 hours so you know they're reliable.

The Super Lumens function lets you add 10% more light at the flip of a switch so you get additional life out of old bulbs - Up to one more grow!
