Sunburst Hydroponics does not keep any kind of a mailing list or customer list. All records are guaranteed to be destroyed, and under no circumstances will any of our customers rights to privacy be invaded or exploited. All packages will be sent in unmarked packages.

NO membership or registration is needed to use our web site. We respect your privacy.

Our shopping cart is VeriSign secured and Hacker Safe (tested daily).

Shipping Policy

We ship only to addresses within the continental United States.

$5 Best Rate shipping applies to all non-heavyweight and oversized items. Your cart will automatically determine if your order qualifies for best rate shipping.

With regard to the shipping cost on all "heavyweight and oversized" items: We've done the math, and by keeping our prices low, and charging the actual shipping rate on heavy weight or oversized items, it should end up saving you some money.

Sorry AK and HI, as much as we'd like to include you in our special $5 best rate shipping offer, it's just not possible. But, we will shop for the best shipping rate for you, and then discount that rate accordingly so that you're still getting the same kind of deal as 'the lower 48' states are with our best rate shipping offer. We'll contact you with a shipping quote as soon as we can on the next business day after you've placed your order.

We accept money orders, cashiers checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Orders paid by personal check will ship 7 to 10 days after the check is received. Credit cards are processed at time of shipping. NOTE: We are required to hold personal checks for up to 10 business days before shipping the order.

Orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, or US Postal. Choose the appropriate option during check out. Orders placed requesting 2 or 3 day shipping options must be placed before 12:00 noon (eastern) Monday - Friday in order to be shipped that day. Otherwise your order will be shipped on the next coming business day. It will arrive within 5 business days using basic ground. FedEx does deliver on Saturdays.

When choosing an expedited shipping method, know that UPS and FedEx define business days as Monday through Friday. Please take this into consideration when placing an expedited shipping order. FedEx does not deliver 2nd day AIR on Saturdays. NOTE: hazardous materials such as pH adjusters cannot be shipped 2nd day air.

USPS - We understand that some homes can only receive delivery to PO boxes. Although we don't offer this option in the shopping cart we will ship USPS if needed. Please detail your request in the "Special Instructions" portion of your order. Due to credit card fraud, we can only ship to the cardholders address so it must match the PO box.

MONEY ORDERS:

Purchases pre-paid with money order, or cashiers check can be shipped to any address of your choice.

Our online shopping cart offers a convenient option to place your order online, then easily PRINT THE ORDER AS THE DIRECTIONS SPECIFY. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE THE PRINTED ORDER WITH YOUR PAYMENT SO THAT WE KNOW WHAT YOU WANT AND WHERE TO SHIP IT. If this information is not included with your money order or check payment, it WILL delay shipping of your order.

If you send your payment with a "signature required", please make a note to the driver to deliver after 12:00 pm.

Return Policy

Sunburst Hydroponics guarantees your satisfaction.

If you are dissatisfied with the performance of your product, please return your product in ‘as-new’ condition, in original packaging. Items not returned in new condition will not be accepted.

All returns must have an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). Items without an RMA number will be returned to sender. To obtain an RMA number call 1-877-939-6900.

A 20% restocking fee will be charged on returned items to cover packaging and shipping charges.

Repairs and Warranty Returns

For items in need of repair (including items still under warranty), call us to obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number).

All items must have an RMA number clearly written on the outside of the shipping box. To obtain an RMA number call 1-877-939-6900.

Warranty or Defective Merchandise Return Policy

For warranty returns, call our toll-free number at 1-877-939-6900 and enter option #1 to obtain an RMA number for your return. If you prefer you can send an email request.

We may refuse packages that do not have the RMA number written on the outside of the box.

This number allows us to connect the returned merchandise to you specifically and we need it in order to return your repaired or replaced item in a timely manner.

Packaging for returns must be as good as the original packaging that we used to get the product to you. The returned item has to get back to us in one piece for us to honor your warranty. The item must be intact, so please package it really well in bubble wrap and packing peanuts, or balled up paper in an over-sized box.
